Liquid Detailing provides quality Car Detailing in Scotland. We mainly work around the Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirlingshire, Fife, Perthshire, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire regions. Where required, we can usually accommodate any request for our Car Detailing Services in any part of Scotland.
Car Detailing in Scotland, over the last two years in particular, has witnessed an influx of the 'one day machine polisher' who uses the terms 'Detailer' and 'Detailing' to describe the wonderful things they can do to your car - and for a silly price too. All too often we see £30k cars and beyond being butchered by ill-informed, lazy and negligent work. These cars end up full of compounding scratches that were not in the car's paint before, and end up with holograms and buffer trails all the way around the car. We urge you to be aware of this and would like to remind car enthusiasts that if you are serious about having your car de-swirled by machine polishing techniques, the process is usually about 20 hours of skilled work over two days. A one-day machine polish will more than likely leave your car in a worse condition than it was in before. Please be wary.
At the core of our work is the commitment to provide you with the best paintwork finish that is possible, regardless of whether you opt for Protection Detailing or Paint Correction Detailing. Each process is designed to offer its own level of improvement in the slickness and gloss of your car's paintwork.
Our Paint Correction Detailing offers the ultimate in the restoration of old or new cars' paintwork to a condition that takes it back to a lustre that the car is unlikely to have seen before, even when new. In fact, your car's paint will take on a high-gloss, highly reflective and liquid appearance. Apart from the obvious aesthetic improvement in a car's appearance, its future maintenance is made much easier. Washing and drying become much easier with less need for much rubbing of the paint during the drying stage - in fact, the car will mostly sheet or bead water straight off. Please follow any of the links to read more about some of the stages involved in our Detailing work. Feel free to contact us if you require any further information.
In achieving the end results that you see on this website, attention to detail and applying appropriate car detailing techniques is central to our work. This philosophy and practice is further enhanced through our use of some of the world's finest car detailing products. Abrasive polishes, plush microfibre cloths, natural carnauba waxes, synthetic polymer durable paint sealants and highly lubricating shampoos all contribute to our outstanding paint finishes.
Safe washing and drying techniques that include citrus pre-washing, allows us to safely remove as much loose dirt and grime as possible before coming into hand contact with a car's paintwork. Also, using appropriate abrasive polishes and firmness of pad for any machine polishing helps us to work effectively with a variety of car manufacturers' paint systems to remove swirl scratches, buffer trails, some scuffing and holograms.
We offer three main car detailing services to car enthusiasts, each being designed to provide varying levels of improvement in your car's appearance and protection. From adding layers of wax or sealant paint protection through to full paint correction services, we provide outstanding results in all areas of our car detailing services.

Car Detailing always begins here. Pre-washing, followed by hand washing in a manner that always minimises the likelihood of inflicting swirl scratches into your car's paint. Only safe, suitable products are used here.
Using a suitable clay bar and lubricant, we proceed to safely remove stubborn contamination that washing alone cannot. This includes removing brake dust, other metal fallout and tar spots that can ultimately compromise you car's paint.
Using a pre-wax or pre-sealant paint cleanser, your car's paint has any traces of bonded chemical films removed. This leaves the paint with a glazed appearance, ready for the layer of wax or sealant protection.
Depending on the characteristics you are looking for, we apply a carefully chosen world-class wax or sealant as a dedicated sacrifical layer of protection for your car's paint. Aesthetics, durability and your own personal requirements are considered.
In addition to paint protection, your car's wheels are given a coat of sealant or high-temperature paste wax as a sacrificial layer for brake dust and other contaminants. Exterior glass (except the windscreen) are also treated with a water-repellant chemical layer.
This is the process of using a variety of grades of abrasive polishes and rotary machine polisher to remove paint imperfections like swirl scratches, buffer trails, holograms, some bird etchings and other paint marring. Our Paint Correction detail is the pinnacle restoration treatment we provide.
